We are open Monday through Thursday 8:00am till 3:00pm. We are closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in order to provide the attention needed for your special event and our office staff time with their families.
We require a 25% non-refundable deposit due at time of booking. Deposits can also be mailed as long as they are received within 7 days of placing your reservation. Please mail your deposits to P.O. Box 39, Mt. Olive, AL 35117. The balance must be paid at delivery, if not before. If paying by credit card, you can pay online or call the office and make payment prior to delivery.
We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks and money orders. For credit cards, we will charge the initial deposit on your card, without an additional fee. However, anything above the 25% deposit is subject to a 4% service fee. We also charge a $30.00 returned check charge on all returned checks.
We recommend booking your event as soon as you know what you want and when you want it. Many events are booked up to a year in advance, with most being booked two to three months in advance, but we will always try to accommodate last minute events. Our expert staff will gladly assist you with finding exactly what you want or a comparable item when you want it.
Most prices on the website include delivery, set-up and breakdown if your order is above $200.00. However, all orders are subject to a rental fee and possibly a fuel surcharge.
Check the dimensions of your space to make sure that the equipment you are renting will fit. Most of the equipment dimensions are on the website. We can do site layouts for larger events. Also, you will need a fairly level surface on grass or concrete for set up. Deborah’s Party Rentals cannot set up on sand or dirt because of the damage and cleanup time that dirt and sand can cause.
Don’t forget power! Most of our items require electricity to run. Make sure you have a dedicated 20amp circuit for most of our items. Power is the customer’s responsibility and if you need additional power, please speak to our expert office staff at time of booking, and we will gladly rent you generators if you should need them. We do provide extension cords for running power to equipment (100 FOOT Max.)
The deposit is non-refundable because once you place your order, the equipment is held for you and is no longer available for others However, in the case of inclement weather, your deposit can be applied to a rescheduled date within one year of the original event date.
Yes! Most of our pricing includes delivery and setup by experienced staff that will set-up and explain each piece of equipment and will return to take the equipment down after your event. In addition, they will also leave cell phone numbers in case you need their help during your event. There is also an emergency help number on your invoice received at time of delivery.
Yes! We are glad to meet all of your staffing needs. Most of our equipment can be supervised and operated by the renter. However, if you would like, we can provide you with expert personnel for an additional fee. All mechanical rides include employee operation for a 4-hour period at no additional charge.
Always! Our staff will deliver and set- up your equipment, making sure that it is properly secured with stakes or sandbags. If you choose “customer pick up”, we will go over the proper way to secure the equipment rented and provide you with the necessary stakes or sandbags.
No matter how secure your equipment is staked, high winds and storms are dangerous. When conditions are unsafe, no participants should be allowed to play on the equipment, and it should be deflated immediately. A general guideline for weather safety cane be found at the National Weather Service website. Activities outdoors should stop if you see lightning, if you hear thunder, or if skies look threatening. It is recommended that outdoor activities not resume until at least 30 minutes after the last thunder has been heard. All equipment should have adult supervision when being used.
Likewise, water activities should never be left unattended.
Yes, we are serious about fun, but we are also very serious about safety and responsibility to our clients and staff. Our professional liability insurance covers all of our events, and upon request, we can add any organization as an “additional insured” onto our policy for your event. Of course, that will apply to our equipment only.
In addition, we also carry State required Workers’ Compensation Insurance to protect our customers and employees. Not all companies “employ” their staffing and can’t provide the same level of protection and training for them and you.
Definitely. We believe in giving back to the community. We support charitable causes and we can work with your budget to provide special package pricing for your non-profit, or fundraising event. We want to partner with as many non-profit organizations as we can.
Absolutely! For events that are booked with us, we give you the right to use any information obtained from our website to help promote your event. This includes, but not limited to, pictures, descriptions, forms and anything else we can help you with. This right is only extended to those that have scheduled events with us, and any use outside of this scope will be looked upon as a copyright violation.
