Valentine’s Day has us thinking of all things sweet, so we wanted to pull together some ideas for a SWEET party that could be used in February, or any time of the year! So just what was our inspiration for a theme that’s perfect for everything from a birthday, to a baby shower or sprinkle, a class Valentine’s Party, or even a relaxed wedding shower? Well, in addition to hearts…
Cupcakes, Ice Cream, Popsicles, Snow Cones
….all the sweet treats we love!!
The theme itself makes picking out snacks easy as pie (another sweet treat!), but the party only gets more fun with the decor, invites, and matching clothes ideas.

Take a look at this gorgeous Candy Bar themed birthday we helped put together for one of our sweet customers.  One of our tents with an added ceiling liner (and balloons in the center to give it a pop of color!) kept the guests in the shade as they snacked on delicious goodies and drinks at our round tables with pink linens and white resin chairs.

The centerpieces carried on the Sweets theme, with candy topiaries and looked good enough to eat!
The candy bar at the side of the tent was truly a hit with a variety of treats for the guests!
If you’re looking for more inspiration, we added some great pins to our Birthday Ideas Pinterest Board!

If you have a SWEET theme in mind for your next get together, give us a call. We would love to help make your vision a reality!

Do you start decorating for Christmas before you finish washing dishes from Thanksgiving dinner, after your weekend shopping is done, or do you wait until December 1?  Whether you’re ready to decorate now or not, take a look in any store and you know Christmas time is here! Parades, live nativities, red and green yard decorations, wish lists, and long lines to see Santa at the mall….which have you already seen around town?

Need a little inspiration to add to your home, office, or party decor?  Our friends at CornerFarmhouseShop put together this printable for you that you can print at home or at a photo printer and frame to hang (or gift!), use to make Christmas cards, or even print onto iron on paper and make a new shirt to wear while you shop.  Let us know if you find a great way to use it!

If you haven’t seen Santa yet, we know where to find him!  He doesn’t spend all of his time at the Mall and the North Pole, you know. 🙂  He loves to visit Christmas parties at work, school, church, and family get-togethers, just let us know when and we’ll make sure your event is on his calendar.

Just in time for Halloween, we have a cute Trick or Treat printable for you to download and display at your Fall Festival, Trunk or Treat, Neighborhood Block Party, or even just next to the candy bowl on your front porch.  It’s formatted to print as an 8×10 so it will center nicely on printer paper, or you can print it at your local print shop.
We hope you love it and have a happy and safe Halloween.

Picking a theme for a birthday party can be…a challenge! Especially if you have a child who is interested in an array of characters, animals, trucks, or princesses. Of course, we have moonwalks and combos to match those (and many other) themes, but why not consider a BOUNCE HOUSE THEME Birthday Party?? Just imagine how colorful and exciting you could make the decor and snacks! We’ve done some of the hard work and researched some ideas to spark your imagination in planning your own Bounce House Party. 😀

We are loving some of these adorable Invitations that would perfectly coordinate with one of our castle combos or moonwalks!

Putting balloons all over the yard using golf tee and string is a great way to give the entire space a bounce house inspired look! We also found suggestions for having socks available for guests (an especially good idea when the weather is warmer and guests might be walking across a hot driveway to go get a plate of cake and ice cream.

As for cakes, we came across many great ideas, but we THINK this one might be our favorite…

Have you planned an entire party around one of our moonwalks, bounce houses, or combos? We’d love to see your ideas as well!
Summer in the south makes a few things come to mind…
…fireflies/lightening bugs
…trips to the lake/beach
…sweet tea (let’s be honest, that’s year-round!)
…barbeque
…time at the pool
…late sunsets
…banana pudding
…watermelon

We are so excited about our upcoming summer events, and decided we should put together a fun summer printable for our customers! Print at home or at your favorite photo printer, and put it in that empty frame in the closet. This would be cute on a mantel, or on the wall, or as a centerpiece at your next backyard BBQ!

We’d love to see how you use this summer art in your home or at an event!

Remember, when it comes to picnic tables, chairs, tents, linens, concessions, fans, or even a grill on a trailer, we have you covered with everything you need for a cookout this summer.

We are LOVING this beautiful weather, and the sunshine calls for a relaxing party outdoors!

A morning bridesmaids’ brunch,
A birthday party with school friends,
An afternoon tea celebrating mom-to-be,
A dinner celebrating a milestone anniversary,
A relaxing bonfire roasting marshmallows…

Whatever the occasion, (or if you’d just like to decorate your home for spring), this printable banner would be the perfect way to welcome guests to the party.

Download the file here, print each page, cut out and tie together with string for an instant Spring look.

What’s one thing that you see at almost any birthday party? Topped in Buttercream, Royal Icing, Glaze, Cream Cheese Icing, or some other sweet delicacy…cupcakes make a delicious addition to a birthday. We’ve even seen parties where cupcakes are the entire theme of the party!

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Deborah’s Party Rentals, so why not celebrate by dreaming of cupcakes? Here are some flavors we’d love to try at any birthday party, corporate gathering, or wedding!

This football season is wrapping up, which means it’s time for more parties!  Whether you’re planning a big party for this Sunday’s big game or you’re planning a small First Down Birthday party for a one year old, we’ve found some fun activities, decorations, and snacks fit for all ages!
We love a fun decorated table setting to match an event, so naturally, we love these fun football centerpieces using glass containers and fresh flowers.

In fact, we loved this look so much, we used it as inspiration for our own version and added some fun paper pennant flags and paper footballs for an event recently.
Deborah’s Party Rentals
To get this look, we cut removable vinyl for the bands and seams of the football and applied them to the vases. Aquarium marbles were added to the vase with enough water to keep the flowers fresh. After arranging fresh flowers, we added an assortment of paper pennant flags and paper footballs on small dowels among the flowers and filled the rest of the vase with brown crinkled paper bag filler. We love the end result! The flags and footballs could easily be made in your favorite team colors. Even straw toppers that you can download from Etsy for a few dollars would be a fun addition to a centerpiece.

At the entry to your event, set up a photo booth where everyone can take pictures before the game starts. We love the referee stripes of this background!

While you wait for the game to start, everyone can enjoy some of our favorites activities, including our larger than life Football Combo!

Every party big or small needs some tasty snacks. We think these chocolate covered strawberries and football shaped brownies would pair perfectly with any bowl of chili, plate of barbeque, or chips and dip.
We hope you have a fantastic weekend and that if you’ll be spending time with family and friends watching football, that it’ll be fun, memorable time!
Here in the South, we don’t see much snow (when it snows), and when it falls, it’s usually a mess and no one wants to drive, so we all joke about stocking up on milk and bread before any winter weather comes our way.  Maybe we’re all planning on having PB&J sandwiches with a glass of milk while the roads are icy, or maybe we’re all planning on having Milk Sandwiches while we have snow parties at home (because schools and offices usually shut down at least for a few hours). We’ve also heard that the bags that sandwich loaves come in make excellent waterproofing agents to keep toes dry in that wet snow.

…All that said, we think it’s time to plan a Snow Party!…

A Snow themed party would be fun on a day when you’re huddled inside because it’s too cold to go out and play, or it would be a fun theme for a winter birthday party, baby shower, wedding shower, or company get-together. At Deborah’s, we’re always brainstorming fun party activities, so we figured this week, we’d help you out with some delicious milk and bread snacks and a few fun snow games.

Check out some of the great ideas we’ve found (and some we’ve tried!) to host your own Snow Party!

This White Hot Chocolate looks tasty (and we’re tempted to try it this weekend whether it snows or not!) With only 3 ingredients (that you may already have assuming you picked up some milk this week), it would be a quick, delicious, warm treat for kids and adults.

While we’re thinking about white chocolate (doesn’t it make you think of snow??), check out this White Chocolate Bread Pudding (handy recipe to have around in case you manage to get an extra loaf before it’s all sold out).
White Chocolate Bread Pudding at Dairy Discovery Zone
As you’re sipping on hot cocoa and your bread pudding is cooking, run outside and set a clean bowl on the deck so you can collect the main ingredient for this next recipe….SNOW CREAM. There are several varieties of snow cream recipes floating around, but this is one we’ve used in the past and we love!

We love this idea of stringing some cereal and raisins on some yarn and decorating trees outside.  The birds and squirrels will love you, and the kids will have fun decorating! (Bonus: You won’t have to un-decorate like you just did for Christmas!)

As always, the forecast has been changing as the weekend approaches, so it may turn out that we only get lots of cold rain.  In that case, here’s a fun way to make your own “snow”!
In fact, this would be a fun activity for kids (or the perfect decoration) for a snow-themed party! We’ve been compiling a few ideas on our Pinterest board…like this gorgeous ribbon and crystal chandelier we can create for a snow-themed party in a tent!

You could even set up a fun photo booth with a “snow” backdrop and some fun snow themed props and get your guests to upload their pictures to Snapchat with a custom Snapchat filter designed for your party or wedding!

Assuming we get the winter weather we’ve seen forecast this week, stay safe and stay warm! (And maybe set a bowl out tonight, just in case 🙂 ).
